Leonard, a native of Southwestern Virginia, founded Carter Media, Inc.
in 1989. Creativity comes naturally for Leonard, who comes from a
bloodline of musicians and artists. Always interested in the arts, Leonard
chose the School of Visual Arts in NYC and worked at Dino De
Laurentis Film Studios (currently Screen Gems) in
Wilmington, NC.
Under Leonard's leadership,
creativity, and personal
touch, Carter Media has
been the recipient of several
honors and awards including
a Gold Addy for
Cinematography, 2008 Western
Virginia Addy Awards, a Gold Addy and Best in Show at
The 2009 Western Virginia ADDY Awards, and a
bronze Telly Award in 2007.
